The 18th China International Battery Fair (CIBF 2026) grandly kicked off from May 13 to 15. Allgrand Group made a powerful appearance at the event. Leveraging its self-developed polyanion core technology, the Group fully displayed the mass production achievements and full-scenario solutions of sodium-ion batteries. Meanwhile, its gel batteries and lithium battery products were also showcased on site. With robust innovative strengths featuring the coordinated development of sodium-ion batteries, lithium batteries and colloidal batteries, Allgrand Group is fueling the high-quality development of the new energy industry.
Sodium-ion Batteries Take the Lead, Impressing All
Allgrand Group has been deeply engaged in the battery industry for nearly four decades. As a leading domestic enterprise that embarked on sodium-ion battery development at an early stage, the Group focuses on the polyanion technology route. It has tackled key pain points including poor low-temperature performance and short cycle life, and built a portfolio of sodium-ion batteries featuring high safety, long cycle life, wide temperature adaptability and strong compatibility.
At this CIBF exhibition, Allgrand showcased its full-range product lineup covering battery cells to complete systems. The highlight was the 100Ah prismatic polyanion sodium-ion cell. Boasting long cycle life, high safety and wide temperature tolerance, it is widely applicable to residential energy storage, telecommunications, data centers, industrial & commercial and grid-side energy storage. On the system side, the group prominently launched sodium-ion battery-based industrial, commercial and container energy storage systems, supporting peak load shifting and renewable power consumption. In addition, lithium battery energy storage systems and lead-acid backup power products were also on display, fully demonstrating Allgrand's comprehensive technical strength.
Core Technological Advantages Reshape the Sodium-ion Battery Landscape
Allgrand's sodium-ion batteries deliver exceptional performance in extremely low-temperature environments. They can still discharge 75% of their capacity at -55°C and support 0.2C charging at -20°C. With a cycle life of up to 15,000 times, they greatly reduce the total lifecycle cost. The products boast outstanding safety performance. They passed rigorous gunshot and nail penetration tests without smoking or catching fire. Additionally, featured with excellent rate capability, the batteries support 8~10C high-rate discharge to meet demands for instantaneous high current.
Thriving Attendance, Exploring Industrial Opportunities Together
On the first day of the exhibition, Allgrand's booth drew an overwhelming crowd. The team held in-depth discussions with numerous industry clients and industrial chain partners covering sodium-ion battery technology upgrading, production capacity planning and cooperation on energy storage projects. A host of intended cooperation agreements were secured, with orders worth tens of millions of yuan finalized.
